DTR Inc. CEO Jay Goldberg's Business Course A Success In Delray Beach, Florida; Next Up Is Jupiter, Florida

There is a new course, for people starting a business, and for existing entrepreneurs/managers, being offered in Jupiter, FL. Topics include: business plan, strategic planning, branding, elevator speech, Zig Ziglar sales skills and more.

DTR Inc.'s CEO, Jay Goldberg, a former Citibank Executive, and a former Program Manager for The Palm Beach County Resource Center, an economic development Not for Profit Corporation, is teaching a course titled "How to Start, Grow and Manage a Business". It will be taught in the Community/Adult Education Program at Jupiter Community High School in Jupiter, Florida, and will start April 13, 2011 and run for eight weeks. Registration for the course will be held March 28-31 and April 4-7 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Registration the first night (March 28) will be held in the cafeteria. Registration for the remaining nights will be in the Community Education Office. The price for this 20-hour course is only $50. Jay Goldberg, who developed a work readiness certification training program called the best in the United States by a member of the National Skills Standard Board, and an innovative entrepreneurship training program when working at the Palm Beach County Resource Center, developed and is teaching this course.

The course is for individuals thinking about starting a business as well as for existing entrepreneurs/managers looking to grow their businesses. It looks at all aspects of a running a successful business, and includes information, tools and skill building. The course follows the format of a business plan, providing information and tools on how to research, write and formulate a plan. However, the course also diverts from a business plan's linear path, and looks at topics such as building sales and customer service skills, using the Internet to build your brand, learning how to implement an ongoing strategic planning process to help grow your business, generating rules to effectively manage your workplace and your staff, and more.
