Plenty of Drupal tips and open source techniques used for creating powerful websites on Drupal platform were primarily in the summit. The organizers of the event are Drupal Communities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. Drupal Balkan Summit hosted about 100 Drupal programmers, regional shop employees in order to figure out urgent issues that arise in Drupal environment, to know how to deal with Drupal on the first steps of your work with this app.

How was organized this event

The regional communities decided to organize this event in two days.

First day:
• Registration of the participants;
• Presentation of the projects (mistakes that inexperienced Drupal developer can make on the first projects, presentation of modules and more);
• Closing speech;
• Breaks.

Second day:
• Presentation of the projects (new improvements in Drupal that makes it more convenient and bug free);
• Lunch;
• After party.

Who participated in this event

The most of attendees were people from South-Slavonic region, that’s why the second day’s sessions were on BCMS languages. But the first day was totally English, thus DrupalDriven developers could understand everything and do their part in discussions.
