DropBy V1.0 App For IPhone … When You Are In The Neighborhood!

Burbank CA (I-Newswire) April 11, 2011 - David Vondracek, developer, announces the first release of DropBy for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users. DropBy delivers a display of your contacts in a particular area. Simply select an area on the map or use your current location and DropBy drops a pin for each contact in your Address book onto the map. Select the pin to view the contacts name and pull up their whole contact card. You can make a call, send an email or text message right from there.

DropBy searches your contacts for addresses and displays those nearby on a map with a pin. Ever been across town all day and after you've left remember someone you should have called upon? Or, perhaps you’re visiting your hometown and want to meet up with old friends? Search your contacts with DropBy and get in touch quickly. Schedule your visit with minimal effort.

Do you store your favorite restaurants or business contacts in your address book?
Find them easily when you want to DropBy for a meal.

Or, you can even upload a list of addresses for sales calls in an area and have them ready for when you arrive.

When the pins show up on the DropBy map tap the pin for the contacts name and again for their full contact page.

You can call, text, email with a tap. No scrolling and scrolling through contacts anymore.

Perhaps you have contacts in an area but don’t remember their name. Zoom and pan the map to the correct area and re-search. The app will pull everyone in your contacts for that area and drop a pin.

Easy to use interface!
Zoom and pan map to adjust area to search - tap "redo search in this area" and app reloads pins for specified area. Compass icon zooms to current location and reloads.

DropBy accesses the addresses you have for your contacts.
