Dr. Martin Seligman Speaks On Positive Psychology At the Leadership Lecture Series at FIU
The Center for Leadership at Florida International University is please to announce that Dr. Martin Seligman, renowned professor and author, will kick off The Leadership Lectures 2013-2014.
Miami, FL (I-Newswire) October 7, 2013 - The Center for Leadership at Florida International University is pleased to announce that Dr. Martin Seligman, Zellerbach Family Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, Director of the Positive Psychology Center, and a renowned author widely regarded as the father of positive psychology, will visit the Modesto A. Maidique campus on October 18, 2013. His visit kicks off The Leadership Lectures 2013-2014, a series of lectures presented by the center featuring the brightest minds in leadership thought, business and human development.
Dr. Seligman will deliver a discussion-style presentation and share insights on the study of PERMA-- positive emotion, engagement, positive relationships, meaning and accomplishment-- at 10:00 a.m. at Florida International University's Graham Center Ballroom located at 11200 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL. The presentation and subsequent discussion forum is free and open to the public.
