Doylestown, Pa (I-Newswire) January 20, 2011 - Dr. Jeff McQuaite of Azzatori Chiropractic-Doylestown is pleased to announce he has recently been added to the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine’s (AOSSM) “STOP Sports Injuries Campaign.”

The Campaign is designed to help parents, coaches, healthcare providers and athletes learn more about the prevention, treatment and long-term consequences of overuse and trauma injury. Armed with the correct information and tools, today’s youth athletes can remain healthy, play safe and stay in the game for life.

“Our growing support will dramatically increase the campaign’s ability to help keep youth athletes healthy, safe and out of the operating room,” said James Andrews, MD, campaign co-chair and President of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Andrews has performed thousands of elbow, shoulder and knees surgeries on the likes of Sam Bradford, Drew Brees, Bo Jackson, John Smoltz and Brett Favre.

Dr. Jeff McQuaite has treated athletes from High School and College up through the Professional level, as well as all the “weekend warriors” in our area. Dr. McQuaite and the STOP Sports Injuries Campaign will reach out to the youth sports community through a variety of resources, including:
