Dr Energy Saver Westchester Teams Up With Hope Community Services This Thanksgiving

Tuckahoe, NY 10707 (I-Newswire) November 29, 2011 - Tuckahoe, NY - Dr. Energy Saver® Westchester has teamed up with HOPE Community Services to collect donations for Thanksgiving dinner as well as offer a discount on Dr. Energy Saver services when donations are made.

"The Energy Elves Are Coming to Town" is the theme of the Dr. Energy Saver Holiday efforts to support and give back to those in need. Mike Carlo, owner of Dr. Energy Saver Westchester, and his team, are asking homeowners to help donate to the local food kitchen.

Dr. Energy Saver is offering $25 off the proposal for each item given to the HOPE Food Bank. The customer can receive up to $500 off of orders more than $3,000.

"This is another fantastic way you can have a positive effect on so many different levels this holiday season. Not only are you helping a family in need with a donation to the Hope Community Services, but you are improving your own comfort and doing something positive for the environment. It's a win, win, win," said Carlo.

One Dr. Energy Saver Westchester employee, Jessica Parnell, will donate her time on Thanksgiving eve to serve the holiday meal to all in need at the Hope Soup Kitchen

The HOPE Soup Kitchen most urgently needs items for their Thanksgiving Day meal such as: Macaroni & Cheese, canned or packets of gravy, pie crust, cranberry sauce, seasoned stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetable and more.

HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit agency founded in 1984 by Mary Lou McNaney in response to the hunger she saw in New Rochelle. The HOPE Soup Kitchen serves meals every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 2 Mondays each month. HOPE Community Services also has a food pantry which provides groceries to families in need each week based on their family size.
