Dr. Elseweifi Became a Member of the College of Sedation in Dentistry

Dr. Yasser Elseweifi, Chicago sedation dentist, achieved Member status of the College of Sedation in Dentistry. Dr. Elseweifi completed all the necessary steps to obtain the honor and the exam in December 2012.

Dr. Yasser Elseweifi , Chicago sedation dentist, achieved Member status of the College of Sedation in Dentistry. Admission to the college demonstrates to the public a dentist's commitment to offering high quality, safe, and effective sedation dentistry. Achieving Member status in the ADSA College of Sedation in Dentistry ensures dentistry's ability to continue to provide high quality sedation dentistry.

The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA) is the organization that represents dental sedation and anesthesia providers across the entire spectrum of anesthesia and pain control in dentistry. Therefore, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology established the College of Sedation in Dentistry in 2001 to provide recognition of ADSA members who have demonstrated excellence through advanced training in sedation dentistry and who are committed to safe and effective patient care.

In order to become a member of the College of Sedation in Dentistry, an individual must complete the requirements for advanced education in conscious sedation, successfully pass the ADSA dental sedation examination, obtain training in basic or advanced cardiac life support and demonstrate continued education in anesthesia and pain control.

Dr. Elseweifi completed all the necessary steps to obtain the honor. He passed the exam in Chicago, on December 4th, 2012.

Dr. Elseweifi is a sedation dentist in Chicago. He received training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support at the Rush-Copley Heart Institute in Aurora IL. Dr. Elseweifi currently practices general dentistry at Bucktown Dental Associates where he offers dental sedation to children and adults. In addition to College of Sedation and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Dr. Elseweifi is also a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
