Mumbai (I-Newswire) December 14, 2011 - Dr. Batra’s Positive Health Clinic Private Limited (DBPHCPL), the world’s first and largest homeopathy healthcare corporate, has been honoured with Franchise India’s prestigious Star Retailer Awards 2011, in the category of Health and Beauty Retailer of the Year. The award recognises Dr Batra’s outstanding contribution towards propagating beauty and health, through homeopathy, and its effective utilisation through branded retailing, across India, the UAE and the UK.

The awards ceremony, now in its 9th year, recognises the initiatives and success of entrepreneurs and companies in the development of the franchise and retail sector in India.

The awards ceremony was organised by Franchise India and UTV Bloomberg, and supported by LIMA (International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Indian Franchise Association (IFA).

The awards were presented across 51 major categories, including 24 in franchising and 27 in the retail category. The event at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, was attended by luminaries from across the world of retailing, including heads of companies and retail networks such as Cartoon Network, JSM Corp, ICICI, NIIT, Shoppers Stop, Titan, Big Bazaar, McDonald’s, Homeshop18 among others.
