Nashville, Tenn. (I-Newswire) December 8, 2010 - Document Solutions, Inc. (DSi), an e-discovery and digital forensics company, announced today that the firm has joined the Sedona Conference, a nonprofit research and educational institute dedicated to the advanced study of law and policy in the areas of antitrust law, intellectual property rights and complex litigation. As a member of Sedona’s renowned e-discovery RFP+ Vendor Panel, DSi will collaborate with other members on principles, guidelines and best practices for the industry.

The e-discovery RFP+ Vendor Panel was formed in the belief that a well-informed marketplace, speaking in the same language, will ultimately lead to reduced transaction costs for all parties, higher quality and greater predictability. DSi will provide input to the special project team working on email management and archiving, search and retrieval sciences, legal holds and legacy data.

“The Sedona Conference is well known for bringing together the brightest minds in a think-tank setting with the goal of creating practical solutions and recommendations,” said Tom Turner, co-founder of Document Solutions, Inc. “We’re excited to join the discussion – both to provide our expertise and to learn from other industry leaders.”

The annual restricted attendance meeting of the e-discovery RFP+ Vendor Panel will be April 14-15, 2011 in Sedona, Ariz. The Sedona Conference findings are developed and enhanced through a substantive peer review process and the resulting content widely published in conjunction with educational programs for the bench and bar, so that it can swiftly drive the reasoned and just advancement of law and policy in the areas under study.
