The first two releases in this collection are by famous gypsy jazz musician, Django Reinhardt. These recordings will ensure a greater audience for his eclectic style of European flavored music.

Django Reinhardt, born in 1910, grew up just outside Paris among gypsy encampments. It is here that Reinhardt developed his celebrated style and wrote many songs widely considered jazz standards today.
