The Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, Wash. and Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas have selected the Digisonics Structured Reporting system for their OB studies.

Houston, TX (I-Newswire) January 21, 2011 - The Digisonics Structured Reporting system was recently purchased by The Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, Wash. The system will function as a complete clinical database and offer users the ability to perform fetal growth analysis, as well as review and edit OB structured reports from anywhere within The Vancouver Clinic enterprise. In an effort to streamline their clinical workflow, The Vancouver Clinic purchased OBLink modules to auto-populate patient biometry from their GE ultrasound systems to the Digisonics Structured Reporting software.

The Digisonics Gateway Monitor will continuously track all system and network communications and immediately communicate any potential issues, while the PDF Export tool will send finalized patient reports to the site’s Epic EMR to further enhance the streamlined workflow. Digisonics API Software will integrate with the site’s McKesson HMI software facilitating seamless access to the Digisonics structured reporting software on McKesson PACS workstations. Digisonics Search application will also provide comprehensive and configurable data mining for interoffice and/or accreditation purposes.

Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas, purchased the Digisonics Structured Reporting platform with an upgraded enterprise-wide GYN reporting package. OBLink modules will provide clinicians with auto-populated patient biometry from their GE and Siemens ultrasound systems to the structured reporting software, creating an efficient clinical workflow.

In addition, the site purchased an enterprise-wide API Link to seamlessly launch the structured reporting software from their McKesson PACS, and an HL7 interface for Results-Out to the site’s Epic EMR. The Digisonics PDF Export tool will send finalized reports to their McKesson PACS, while the Digisonics DICOM Gateway insures smooth data throughput. Digisonics Query Tool will auto-populate accreditation and staffing reports, and the Digisonics enterprise-wide Rolodex application will automatically transmit finalized structured reports via fax, print or email to referring physicians.
