Designer Steve McKenzie Taps Laurie Bell Textiles For Back Porch/Patio Decor at Atlanta Home & Lifestyle Home for the Holidays Showhouse 2013
- Atlanta designer, Steve McKenzie, recently selected Laurie Bell textiles to be featured in his outdoor dcor plan for the Atlanta Home & Lifestyle Home for the Holidays Showhouse.
Online, February 18, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Numerous Laurie Bell cushions, pillows, and textiles were incorporated into McKenzie's exterior plan for the spacious show house.

The large "L" shaped back porch and patio area features a stone fireplace and all weather wicker seating. The Laurie Bell products are on display as a part of the lounge seating and decorative pillows. A bright tangerine and shades of aqua color story was incorporated into the textile designs. All fabrics were constructed using solution dyed acrylic yarns for lasting hues.
"When I was imagining the space I saw it as an extension of the interior and a space for entertaining," said Steve McKenzie, owner, Steve McKenzie Interiors, Atlanta, Ga. "It was important that the fabrics reflect the same luxury of the home and Laurie Bell had such beautiful textures and patterns that would be equally comfortable inside or out. That is when we knew we had landed on the perfect solution."
The Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Home For The Holidays was open to the public from November 15 to December 8 of 2013 benefitting the Southeastern Horticultural Society.
