Deluxe Nature International unveils its inaugural collection online at www.deluxenature.com to coincide with the 2010 holiday season in hopes of making Christmas a little brighter for children living in poverty in Peru.

The Deluxe Nature line of ready-to-wear casual separates is inspired by Peru’s premium Pima cotton and pays tribute to the stitching detail made famous by Oscar de la Renta. In honor of the release of its first collection, Deluxe Nature is offering a 5 percent discount on all sales and free shipping until Dec. 31.

A percentage of sales of the Deluxe Nature clothing line will go to the Peruanitos Foundation, http://www.peruanitosfoundation.org, a nonprofit that helps improve the lives of children living in poverty in Peru. For every $100 of clothing sold, the company will donate $5 to the foundation that clothes, feeds and houses abused, abandoned and orphaned Peruvian children.

“I want my designs to benefit as many people as possible, and not just the person wearing my clothes,” says Deluxe Nature founder and designer Patricia Brady, 42, a native of Peru who now makes Aventura, just north of Miami, her home.

The Deluxe Nature line features a collection of colorful knit tops and pants, both full length and Capri style, all knits are made from Peruvian Pima cotton. Brady’s style is classic and feminine, giving the woman who wears her line a look of casual elegance whether she’s at work, entertaining friends or merely running errands.

The release of Brady’s first collection marks the culmination of years of dreaming about launching a clothing line. She derives her inspiration from top designers like Oscar de la Renta known for his stitching, and from the luxury hand embroidered designs created by her grandmother, Maria Salas Rosenthal. Brady grew up admiring her grandmother’s wardrobe, full of sparkling glass beads and sequins and the magnificent embroidery, and knitting she saw around her childhood home in Peru.

Brady focused the past few years on refining her designs and searching for the perfect fabrics while focusing on her family. Now with her daughter now 11 and her husband busy with his own career, Brady felt ready to launch her designs.

“My line of clothing reflects my deliberate approach to design and style. The woman who wears my clothes is comfortable and confident; she likes the little details. She doesn’t need to rush to make things happen,” Brady says. “Much like my career as a designer.”

Brady’s designs are exclusively available at www.DeluxeNature.com. She will be adding more designs to the site throughout the season, expanding to a full line of Spring wear, in few months. The timing of the release of the line, during tough economic times, doesn’t faze Brady.

“I know that building my brand will take time. The sales will come and the economy will improve,” she says. “In the meantime, I’ll help children live better lives. I can’t think of a better way to launch my dream career than by helping others.”
