Design-2-Part (D2P) Shows, America’s largest design and contract manufacturing tradeshows, have released their 2012 show schedule.

Prospect, CT (I-Newswire) November 15, 2011 - Design-2-Part (D2P) Shows, America’s largest design and contract manufacturing tradeshows, have released their 2012 show schedule. The 11 show slate includes six annual events, four semi-annual shows and a highly anticipated return to the Pacific Northwest.

The schedule is highlighted by Design-2-Part Shows’ third ever appearance, and first since 2009, in Portland, Oregon with the Northwest Design-2-Part Show, on October 23 & 24, 2012 at the Metropolitan Exposition Center.

As usual, the schedule is anchored by six annual shows. D2P will hold these events in Grapevine (Dallas), TX, Santa Clara, CA, Atlanta, GA, Schaumburg, IL, Long Beach, CA, and Marlborough (Boston), MA. The Southern California Design-2-Part Show actually rotates between Long Beach and Pasadena giving Greater Los Angeles area manufacturers two convenient, every-other-year options.

The D2P schedule is rounded out with four events that revolve semi-annually. These shows will be held in Secaucus, NJ, St. Charles (St. Louis), MO, Akron, OH, and Raleigh, NC.

Design-2-Part Shows provide design engineers, manufacturing engineers and managers, and purchasers an excellent opportunity to meet local and national job shops and contract manufacturers to source custom parts, components, services, and design. Exhibiting companies will be showcasing their design-through-manufacturing services featuring more than 300 product categories for the metal, plastics, rubber and electronics industries. The shows are working shows and visitors are encouraged to bring sample parts and drawings.

D2P Shows exclusively feature exhibiting job shops and contract manufacturers with manufacturing operations in the United States. Companies that do not have facilities in the U.S. are not permitted to exhibit.
