Debi Primeau, Director of HIM at Peak Health Solutions, Named President-elect of the California Health Information Association (CHIA)

(I-Newswire) March 17, 2010 - Primeau, MA, RHIA, FAHIMA, has previously served as Director on the California Health Information Association’s Board and her new role will help continue the non-profit’s work in providing leadership, education, and resources for health information professionals. Primeau will ensure CHIA continues to support quality, comprehensive, and secure health information services for HIM professionals in California. Using her 30 + years of HIM experience, she will work to monitor and strengthen the organization’s programs and services while helping to provide financial oversight and adequate resources for continued success.

As the Health Information Manager for Peak Health Solutions, a national coding and auditing solutions company based in San Diego, CA, Primeau is responsible for managing patient health information and ensuring that Peak clients have accurate, complete, and secure records. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator and a member of The Action Community for e-HIM® Excellence. As an ACE member, Primeau joins a panel of HIM experts to contribute to the next generation of HIM applications.
