Day Job Records Make The YuYa Their First Signing

London (I-Newswire) March 24, 2011 - Combining together the London born singing and performing talents of Constance Dalrymple with the Italian flair and musical craft of Eliseo Soardi, The Yuya make acoustic fuelled, avant-garde, toe-tapping music that is as perfect for sunny Sunday mornings as it is for sing-along Friday evenings on the town.

The YuYa’s front-woman, Constance Dalrymple, said “Getting signed by Day Job Records is perfect for us. Both Eliseo and I work in fulltime jobs, which makes it really difficult to dedicate enough time to promoting our music. We’ve met a few record and management companies, but as soon as we met Day Job Records, with their straight-talking approach, we knew right away that we wanted to work with them.”

The YuYa
The YuYa are Constance Dalrymple and Eliseo Soardi, formed in 2008 after a chance meeting at a fancy dress wedding, they play acoustic fuelled, avant-garde, toe-tapping music. Since their first gig in Kilburn they have played over 150 shows across the UK and Europe and a Festival in Casamance, Senegal. They recorded their debut album in Italy in the summer 2010, which they plan to release in the second half of 2011 on Day Job Records, preceded by two singles, the first of which is titled “Naked” and is currently scheduled for release in later April or early May 2011.
