Dauphin Media Group (DMG) To Cease Publication of Holmes Magazine

Dauphin Media Group (DMG), publishers of Holmes, the Magazine to Make it Right and Canadian Architecture and Design Magazine, announced today that the December issue of HOLMES magazine will be the last issue published by DMG.

Toronto (I-Newswire) November 1, 2011 - Dauphin Media Group (DMG), publishers of Holmes, the Magazine to Make it Right and Canadian Architecture and Design Magazine, announced today that the December issue of HOLMES magazine will be the last issue published by DMG. Samuel Yoon, Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, DMG made the announcement. “It was always the Holmes Group’s intention to transition the magazine to their control.”

On a more positive note, Yoon advises that DMG plans to launch a new celebrity driven shelter magazine in the new year. Details on celebrity and content to follow.

Subscribers of the magazine will receive the December 2011 issue as scheduled, and the issue will be on newsstands by December 2nd. DMG fully intends on fulfilling its subscriber obligations and will be posting information on its website. www.dauphinmedia.com

HOLMES magazine launched in Canada in January 2010 with six issues per year. Within less than one year, its frequency grew to 10 issues per year, and a separate U.S. edition was launched in November 2010.
