CureMD Kicks Off 2012 Annual Users Conference

CureMD Healthcare held its Annual User Group Meeting in New York at the Helen Mills Theatre on September 22nd and 23rd, 2012.

The free for users conference attendees include physician practices representing a wide variety of sizes and specialties as well as HIE connected health systems. Saturday, September 22nd brought together CureMD users, partners and resellers from across the nation for exhibits and a cocktail reception. The early evening event provided an opportunity to network with CureMD teams, executives, partner representatives, and industry experts.

Sunday, September 23rd was an information packed day. Users chose sessions from clinical, administrative and financial tracks. Clinicians chose the clinical track where they learned valuable tips and tricks to save time and effort during clinical documentation as well as new methods to fast track meaningful use compliance. Administrative and billing users benefited from the financial track which discussed the management of claims, denials, ICD-10 and a host of challenges faced by today’s value-driven healthcare system.

AUGM closed with a session by Robert Goff, CEO of University Physicians Network, who spoke about emerging trends in the industry and how medical practices can align their efforts to maximize benefits of emerging healthcare technology and industry mandates.
