Cuker Partners with Red Bull on Social Media Strategy for Athletes

Leading action sports brand Red Bull turns to Cuker to activate digital campaigns for their athlete and event marketing for 2013.

Digital design agency Cuker recently announced a new partnership with Red Bull for 2013. This year, Cuker is tasked with creating and activating Red Bull's athlete and event social media marketing campaigns, beginning with the Winter X Games.

Red Bull is at the forefront of action sports and team marketing. Their innovative Stratos Campaign in 2012 featuring space jumper Felix Baumgartner received worldwide attention and accolades. In addition to groundbreaking campaigns, Red Bull also sponsors a variety of top athletes including NBA star Blake Griffin, professional snowboarder Travis Rice, and professional skier Lindsey Vonn.

Last year, Cuker was given the opportunity to design Red Bull's mobile page for Formula 1. This year, Cuker will be working with Red Bull to activate social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube with a connected approach. Cuker will partner with Red Bull to deliver authentic and engaging social media programs that support events, campaigns, and key athletes. The first campaign, launched in January, was focused on Canadian snowboarder Mark McMorris as he prepared for the Winter X Games.

With the Red Bull partnership, Cuker brings award-winning experience and great success working with leading sports brands including Rip Curl, Giro, Quiksilver, Easton Cycling, Dunlop, Callaway Golf, and Manduka. Recently, Cuker was honored with the prestigious 2012 WebAward from the Web Marketing Association for Rip Curl's eCommerce platform.
