CT REIA Announces July 2011 Meeting Of The Apartment Owners Association Of Connecticut

On July 20, 2011 the Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association (CT REIA) will be sponsoring a new Apartment Owners Association Of CT (AOACT) and Mastermind Group meeting. Attendees will receive advice on managing investment properties.

The Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association, or CT REIA, in association with the Apartment Owners Association Of Connecticut, or AOACT, is announcing the July 2011 meeting of the AOACT. This event will take place on July 20 from 5:45pm to 9:00pm at the Crowe Plaza Hotel, located at 100 Berlin Road in Cromwell, CT. This event is free for AOACT and CT REIA members, and $30 for non-members.

The Mastermind Group portion of this event will take place from 5:45 to 7:00 pm. This portion of the seminar is only open CT REIA coaching students, members with 2 or more buildings, and/or members who have done 5 or more transactions. The purpose of this group is to share thoughts, ideas, opinions and information. When an industry-focused group is created, investors gain the ability to see things not only from their own perspective, but also with the collective group experience they have the ability to see things from new and different perspectives.

The AOACT portion of this event will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. At this seminar, attendees will learn how to better manage investment properties and apartment buildings. Attendees of this seminar will learn: how to control water seepage in the basement; how to utilize a tax deferred 1031 exchange to buy more and larger buildings; how to never have an eviction again; Connecticut building codes and which properties are exempt from inspections; security deposit rules; the rule of renter insurance; reasons to buy investment properties, and much more.

The Apartment Owners Association of Connecticut is an organization that informs and educates apartment owners, property managers, landlords, and real estate investors. AOACT consists of seasoned investors that currently own thousands of rental units in Connecticut. AOACT is an organization that promotes responsible landlord practices and is an advocate for property owner rights.
