CSU Institute for Palliative Care Brings on Education Program Expert
Nicole Orsini will oversee the development and implementation of the Institute's educational programs
San Marcos (I-Newswire) January 21, 2013 - The CSU Institute for Palliative Care is pleased to announce that Nicole Orsini has joined its team as Education Program Administrator. In her new role, Orsini will oversee the development and implementation of the Institute's educational programs.
As Director of Education & Youth Programs at Cal State San Marcos Extended Learning for nearly six years, Orsini is an accomplished educational professional with a history of advancing professional credit and non-credit programs in education and related fields, as well as experience in community outreach and special events. She has a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Management from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Education from CSUSM.
"Nicole understands what it takes to create and manage successful educational programs," said Institute Executive Director Helen McNeal. "She will be a great asset in helping the Institute create its replicable educational model and address the critical shortage of nursing, social work, spiritual and other professionals with palliative care skills and training."
