On Mondays in June, 10 Empire Club Members will be called up at 9 p.m. and two cruise certificates will be given away while the other eight finalists will receive a $250 free play certificate. Members can earn entries into the drawing by earning Empire Club points the week before.

The Summer Festival returns to Empire City on June 18th trackside at 5 p.m. as the Raceway will have free giveaways, a carousel, fun slide, carnival booths, and also musical entertainment courtesy of a Beach Boys tribute band, “Still Surfing.”

On Father’s Day, June 19th, the first 6,000 male Empire Club members to visit a Promotions Booth will receive a free tape measure, while supplies last.

As gas prices soar, “Fill ‘Er Up Fridays” give Members the chance to have Empire City foot the bill for gas guzzling cars. From 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays in June, three Empire Club Members will be called every 30 minutes to win a $100 Sunoco gas card. At 6 p.m., three Empire Club Members will win a $500 Sunoco gas card. Members must be playing any slot machine at each drawing date with their Empire Club inserted in order to participate.

The laughs roar on two Wednesdays in June as the Casino will host two comedy nights on the 8th and 22nd at 8 p.m. Pete Correale, Matty Goldberg, and Matt Christmas are lined up for the June 8th event, while Sandy Marks, Colin Kane, and Marion Grodin take the stage on June 22nd. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the shows are free for Empire Club members. Non-members pay a $15 cover charge.

For baseball fans in 1969, “The Catch” meant Ron Swoboda’s diving grab of Brooks Robinson’s line drive at Shea Stadium in the 1969 World Series. On Tuesday, June 28th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., three Empire Club Members will be called every 30 minutes to win a photo of this spectacular catch autographed by both Swoboda and Robinson. The beloved outfielder known as Rocky will also appear to relive Mets history at the Entertainment Lounge from 4:30-6:00pm for a Q and A, and autographs.

On Thursday, June 30th at 6:30 p.m., the first 500 Empire Club Members to visit the Gotham Palace will receive a free two-horse exacta box ticket for one race that evening. All proceeds from the race go to the Kelly Rooney Foundation.
