Online, May 21, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Long Island filmmaker Steven Taub has created a music video to promote his documentary, Impresarios and Visionaries, a tribute to two local cultural icons, the late Michael Rothbard and Vic Skolnick. "Impresarios" is in production, with much of the footage already shot.

The documentary, intended for airing locally and on national PBS, will not only explore the lives of these two passionate, respected supporters of music and cinema, it will also explore the relationship between artist, audience and the larger community.

"Impresarios, Visionaries and Artists" will be a sixty minute documentary, including interviews with renown musicians, actors and directors.

The show will celebrate the importance of the arts in peoples' lives, and its positive impact within the communities where fine art, cinema, music and other live performances thrive. "Impresarios" explores the film makers' and musicians' process. The film's arc will reveal how presenters, artists and audience are linked -- clearly demonstrating that the arts brings small towns and big cities closer together, and stimulates positive emotions, while expanding our intellectual boundaries.

This community of the arts expresses the notion that people like to come together to celebrate their lives in song, story, dance, or cinematic display, and that humanity's potential is as expansive as our imaginations.

Ultimately, this story is about dreams, the process of realizing them, and once realized, the contribution that they make.
