Crazy 888s Records Signs Sweet Davis to Indie Label

Band's Debut Single "Ready" available on iTunes and 25 other music outlets

(I-Newswire) August 14, 2010 - Crazy 888s Records has signed a multi-album deal with Northern Virginia based artist Sweet Davis. The band consists of Kristin Davis on vocals, Matt Ascione on Guitar and Pete Davis on Drums.

The band's music is a collective mix of pop, rock, and country influences, which shines through on their first single "Ready".

"The most unique element of their sound is the haunting melodies and vocals from lead singer Kristin Davis", said David Stone, Managing Partner at Crazy 888s records. " We are excited to have Sweet Davis as part of the Crazy 888s family".

The messages in the bands songs touch on many global issues, including climate change, social equality, diversity and failed personal relationships.

"We've known each other for over 20 years, so there's no shortage of material to sing about", notes lead singer Kristin Davis. "We think people can relate to our songs on many different levels".

The band is working on their full album, titled "Bittersweet", which should be released early next year.
