Contour Adjustable Bed Company Sponsoring Golf Tournament to Benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

(I-Newswire) September 10, 2010 - As part of its commitment to make a significant impact on the community, Contour, the premiere manufacturer of adjustable beds in the United States, is sponsoring the 12th Annual Chad Blum Memorial Charities Golf Tournament to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Friday, September 17, 2010. The tournament will be played at The Links at Challedon in Mount Airy, Maryland. Space is still available and golfers from the Washington, DC/Baltimore region are invited to join us for a fun and meaningful day.

Tournament registration opens at 11 am with free range balls for the driving range and putting green. The tournament begins with a Shotgun start at 12:30 pm and finishes with a traditional Maryland Crab Feast and awards banquet. Raffles, prize giveaways, golf contests and golfer goodie bags are all included as part of the golf registration. Officials at the Mid-Atlantic office of the Make-A-Wish Foundation call this tournament the best organized and most meaningful fundraising event held on their behalf every year. The Contour Bed Company has a long standing relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For the past eleven years the Mowrey family has organized this annual fundraiser, sponsored by Contour, for the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In 1996, their niece was granted the wish of an all-expense paid week in Disney World with her family. When their step-brother was killed in a car accident the following year the family started the tournament in his name. Contour employees, distributors and business partners across the country support the effort and participate in the tournament alongside friends and family each year.
