A financial incentive for those who qualify is $3,000 to the Borrower for relocation assistance. Some of the eligibility requirements are:
- The home is the primary residence for the borrower
- The 1st lien mortgage loan originated on or before January 1, 2009
- It is reasonably foreseeable that the loan will become delinquent or is already in default
- The maximum principal unpaid balance does not exceed more than $729,750
- Total monthly mortgage payment exceeds more than 31% of the homeowner’s monthly gross income.
