Community Selects Country's Best Non-Profit Annual Appeal Mailing

Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development Receives Free Printing and $1000 Toward Fundraising Campaign

ClickInks, one of the fastest growing ink and toner distributors in the U.S., today announced the winner of its search for the country's best Annual Appeal mailing, Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development. The winning entry was chosen by the community from a group of 10 finalists. ClickInks received submissions from non-profits around the world that believed they had the most compelling visual and written content in an end-of-year mailing. Cheryl Hedges, Director of Outreach and Development, accepted the prize from ClickInks.com of free printing for a 2013 mailing and $1000 for its 2012 Annual Appeal campaign.

"Corporate donations and foundation grants for non-profits have decreased considerably due to the realities of the economy, so many are re-inventing their individual donor materials in order to stand out," said ClickInks.com Marketing Executive Danielle Bernhard. "Creating a visually appealing Annual Appeal mailing is more important than ever, and the work of our finalists shows that non-profit organizations from around the world are up to the challenge. The work that Ms. Hedges and her team did on this particular piece is really admirable and our hope is that it will inspire and challenge others in 2013."

ClickInks.com launched the contest on October 12th and accepted submissions through December 9, 2012. After carefully reviewing dozens of submissions, company executives announced the 10 finalists based on creativity, design, and overall ability to get the organization's message across. They were:

Family & Children's Association
Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development
American Red Cross
Miami Children's Museum
Redwood Forest Foundation
Elders in Action
VIBS Family Violence and Rape Crisis Center
Meals on Wheels of Salem County, Inc
The Adelante Mujeres Program
Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Valley

The voting period to select the grand prize winner ran through December 22nd. This year's winner, The Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development (www.AlianzaAndina.org), had over $87,247.87 in in-kind donations and volunteer hours and saw its foundation support more than triple. The mission statement is, "Harnessing collective intelligence to support community-led development in the highlands of Peru." For every dollar donated this year, the organization leveraged $2.50 in the field. The winning submission can be seen online at (http://www.clickinks.com/voting.aspx).
