Who-sells-it.com was founded in 2006 by the Yves Latour, Mark Ruefenacht and Arvin Zuberbuehler, who were studying at the University of St. Gallen, one of Europe’s leading business schools. They realized that it would be very difficult to find the relevant books in the library of the University without technical support. With products and services it’s basically the same: if you want to buy a bed, you have to think about all the possible furniture stores, order all the catalogs by mail and then search by hand according to your criteria. The service of an online catalog search engine was not yet provided, even though lots of these catalogs were online already. An idea was born!
Despite the pressure of exercises and exams to be successfully finished the students started to make their idea become reality.
