Code & Quest Launches DiceMaster P&P RPG Platform on Kickstarter

DiceMaster is currently looking for funding to help with its development. DiceMaster will allow multiple players to play any P&P RPG system, on any operating system using any browser.

From Code & Quest Ltd comes DiceMaster, online system neutral P&P RPG platform. This fully featured and professionally made online app is currently looking for funding to help with development. DiceMaster has high production values and it is truly customisable, allowing GMs complete control over the players screen. DiceMaster will allow you to play any P&P RPG system, with as many players as you like, on any operating system using any browser.

DiceMaster, upon its completion will be a massive social hub for gamers, RPG enthusiasts, players, game masters, writers and content creators. A place where you will be able to log in and read a good story, engage with the RPG community and plan your games. The main feature of DiceMaster will be a wide selection of tools and assets which will allow you to play 'live' RPG sessions with your friends over the internet, no matter where you are or what browser/operating system you are using. There will be no software to download, no installations to make. DiceMaster is entirely browser based, built using the best new web technologies.

DiceMaster is in class of its own and not in direct competition with other platforms, which may seem similar at first glance. The high quality content provided by its creators is as important to them as the tools themselves; The scope of content to be offered will encompass not only tokens, maps and art; but music, sounds, soundscapes, voice samples and videos. However, the DiceMaster team plans to go even further than that, they also plan to offer physical items and full RPG publishers catalogues, i.e. rulebooks, bestiaries, expansion packs etc. The DiceMaster team will be producing their own coherent, system neutral, campaigns which will include the whole scope of the specially designed assets (stories, videos, voice acted NPCs, maps, tokens, notes, music, sounds and so on…) which will be easily adaptable to any system in the given genre. Secondly, they will support content creators with special emphasis on promoting young artists, musicians and writers who contribute their work towards DiceMaster. Anyone who creates high quality content will be able to sell it through DiceMaster.

About Code & Quest and the Creation of DiceMaster

DiceMaster was conceived by three people, Jakub Prochniak, Pawel Kosinski and Joanna Kosinska, who are keen P&P RPG fans. They were part of a bigger group of enthusiasts and players who, due to different life events, were separated from the group and each other, which meant no more playing. Two years ago, Jakub came up with the idea of an 'online table' where they could meet again and play RPG sessions between themselves or with their friends online. The rest of the team soon saw the potential in Jakub's idea, Code & Quest was formed and plans for DiceMaster were created soon after.
