CMS VATAVARAN Orders New Logo Design

CMS VATAVARAN Environment and Wildlife Film Festival and Forum is the first event of its kind in India. To ensure the success of the festival, the organizers have decided to give their old logo a makeover, and they entrusted this task to LogoBee.

Montreal (I-Newswire) May 31, 2011 - The new logo was chosen to reflect the idea that the event is very people-centric. The old CMS VATAVARAN logo represented a tree with half of its leaves gone on a film cell. But far from being a mere environmental film festival, it's an opportunity for all kinds of people to come together, to discuss the state of the world we live in and how to save it. To symbolize this, the trunk of the tree is now composed from a pair of people of different colors, their spreaded arms forming the branches.

The film aspect has not been neglected either, as the crown of the tree is composed of not only leaves, but entwined lengths of film strip. The logo manages to convey a smooth fusion of two aspects, film and nature, which are the objects of the VATAVARAN festival. This new logo is more modern, abstract and symbolic, and conveys movement, dynamism. After all, the environment is not static. As it gets shifted into ever new shapes, the CMS VATAVARAN festival changes as well, and so does the logo for it.
