CMC Government Supply Featuring New Products at the Texas Emergency Management Conference

Eflares and many other great products for emergency preparedness will be shown in San Antonio, April 2-5

CMC Government Supply will be an exhibitor at the Texas Emergency Management Conference on April 2-5 in San Antonio, Texas. The conference is sponsored by the Texas Division of Emergency Management and will feature a wide variety of workshops, presentations, training classes, and exhibits.

Conference participants include representatives of law enforcement, border security and port security, transportation and cyber security, as well as firefighters, emergency medical personnel, Texas Military Forces, voluntary organizations and private sector partners. Attendees also will include officials from higher education, public education, health and medical care and public officials from the local, state and national governments. Representatives of more than 30 state agencies on the Governor's Emergency Management Council and federal officials also will attend.

"We are looking forward to participating in this Conference. We have strategically added new product lines and now carry over 100,000 products to meet the needs of Emergency Management professionals," stated Debby Parker, Vice President of CMC Government Supply. "We are headquartered in the state of Texas and we already supply many city, county and state agencies with products including firearms and accessories, CERT equipment, safety products, hi visibility products, weapon lights, flashlights, tactical gear, waterproof notebooks, and more. Look for our Booth #720 at the show!"

Now is the perfect time for government agencies to be able to see and consider products for emergency preparedness. Emergencies such as tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and fires must be anticipated. New products and alternative products must be considered. For example, CMC will be showing Eflare Electronic Flares which are a safe and effective alternative to pyrotechnic or chemical flares. Chemical flares are used by emergency responders, police, firefighters, EMTs and safety personnel at accident locations, construction sites, events, and more. However, chemical flares burn at high temperatures and create a risk of igniting combustible material. They simply are not an option in the hot, dry summers of Texas when burn bans are on. CMC Government Supply has a solution: Eflares. Eflares feature LEDs that operate on standard alkaline batteries providing over 40 hours of continuous battery life. Eflare electronic flares are available in several models including a HAZMAT accredited model with a variety of 1 or 2 color light combinations, steady-on or flashing, and in 3 light intensities. There is no residue, smoke, or fire risk and they are reusable.
