Cleveland Business Incubator GCA Partners with TiE Ohio for Startup Showcase and Venture Fair

Online, April 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Goldstein, Caldwell & Associates (GCA) a Cleveland-based seed capital investment and business development company announces its spring portfolio company showcase on Wednesday, April 21. The event

The event will feature four formal presentations from new Cleveland startups with more than twenty startups set up in the exhibit area. The presenters from GCA are Sunflower Solutions, a company that has created the world's first manually adjustable solar power system, and Corkshare, a unique social networking site that allows users to post and share content on a virtual corkboard. From TiE, companies Kidnyx and Gigfinity will be presenting their ideas. Kidnyx is a company aiming to improve the dialysis patient's quality of life with their medical device and natural approach. Gigfinity, an online platform for local and regional businesses, allows promotion and connection with
customer bases and other businesses.

The opening keynote speech will be delivered by Richard Herman, who is a co-founder of the Ohio chapter of TiE, a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has been three-times recognized as a "Leading Lawyer" by Inside Business Magazine. Mr. Herman's multi-cultural law firm serves immigrant and minority
communities nationwide. He is also part of an architecture team, which hopes to revitalize the Rust Belt to attract job-creating entrepreneurial and investor immigrants to distressed parts of the nation.
