Clay for a Cause

Online, January 22, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Meena Vohra, a well renowned ceramic artist and studio potter will hold a solo exhibition of her work "Clay with a Soul" in feburary at the Hotel Taj, S.P.Marg, New Delhi. Meena will be contributing 50% of the sale proceedings for the cause of underprivileged children at "Deepalaya".

"Deepalaya" is a Non-Governmental Organization that is working for the cause of education, health-care, vocational training, gender-equality, institutional care, the differently-abled & empowering NGOs.

"Clay with a Soul" is a solo exhibition that will shed light on how ceramics can be beautifully molded into different forms of Nature earth. The idea is to present the different forms of nature in a contemporary way. It will showcase abstract ceramic installations and art pieces. It will also display specially designed handcrafted mobiles, wind chimes, wall art and other small and big eclectic statement pieces. The show will be a treat for the eyes of art lovers and they can also buy these art pieces and contribute for a Nobel cause.
