Clark Li, Balentine's Director Of Global Investment Research, Elected As Inaugural Member Of The Woodruff Arts Center Roundtable

Clark Li, Director of Global Investment Research at Balentine, has been named as an inaugural member of the Woodruff Arts Center Roundtable.

Clark Li, Director of Global Investment Research at Balentine, has been named as an inaugural member of the Woodruff Arts Center Roundtable. Established in 1968, The Woodruff Arts Center is a performing and visual arts center in Atlanta housing the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the High Museum of Art and the 14th Street Playhouse. The Woodruff Roundtable was established to give community leaders a way of engaging with the Woodruff Arts Center and a means of forging connections between the Arts Center and broader, more diverse audiences.

Li will work in conjunction with 32 other Roundtable members drawn from Atlanta's business, government and creative communities. The Roundtable is co-chaired by retired Coca-Cola Enterprises executive Vicki Palmer and Javier Goizueta, president of Coca-Cola's McDonald's Division. Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, visual artist Radcliffe Bailey and former NFL player Jerome Bettis will also serve on the committee. "I am very excited to be part of the Woodruff Arts Center Roundtable," said Li when discussing his appointment. "I am eager to help the Arts Center share the arts and arts education with a more diverse audience, and I'm very excited to help them explore ways of connecting with Atlanta's Asian American communities."

Li is Balentine's Global Investment Research Director and leads the firm's investment research as a member of the Investment Strategy Team. Li joined Balentine from the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) in China where he served as the Executive Manager of the Research Department. There, he led a team conducting research on investment strategy, market structure, trading mechanisms and market regulation. Before joining the SSE, Li worked for Wilmington Trust Investment Management in Atlanta as both a portfolio manager and senior analyst. Previously, he was a portfolio manager and senior analyst with Waddell & Reed Financial.

Li earned his MBA and Master of Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Management Science from Shanghai Jiaotong University, one of the most prestigious universities in China. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Account (CPA) designations and has taught various CFA review courses and investment training sessions.
