(I-Newswire) September 25, 2009 - Actress Claire Sweeney adds showbiz sparkle to the new Park Christmas Savings tv ad that launched yesterday.
She is joined by the familiar Park fairy Wanda who helps Claire explain to the confused Toons what saving with Park is all about.
Claire was really thrilled to be asked to be the new face of Park Christmas Savings - www.getpark.co.uk - as she thinks it's a great idea to save for Christmas 2010 at a time when people all across the country are having to watch their pennies.
She believes that by saving a few quid each week in advance you can make Christmas a totally stress free time...
"It become more about your family and less about how you're going to finance it."
Filming the ad:
Claire might have appeared in the West End with Patrick Swayze, survived Celebrity Big Brother and danced her socks off on Strictly Come Dancing but filming the Park tv ad was still a big challenge.
Claire told Parklife magazine: "It was a really different experience as I've never worked with animation before, but lots of fun!
"It was a bit bizarre at first having to pretend I was speaking to the Toons as they weren't added in until filming was finished. I had to spend days talking to lighting stands and bits of sellotape on walls. It took a little bit of getting used to!"
Claire was so impressed when she saw the Toons for the first time that she even asked if the producer could animate her and make her look like Jessia Rabbit!
We are so glad the real Claire appears in the ad and not an animation as we love Claire just the way she is.
She is so well loved that she was recently named one of the top celebrities people would pick to be their teacher. Robert Pattinson came top, followed by Holly Willoughby and Claire finished in third place.
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Simon Cowell all finished below her in the www.getpark.co.uk list.
