CityNet Offering High Speed Wireless Internet To Select Buildings In Denver, CO Says CEO Matthew Splitt
CityNet CEO Matthew Splitt announced today that Business Class Internet access is now available over wireless connections to customers in Denver,CO. CityNet offers wireless service in multi-tenant buildings where Ethernet is unavailable.
Denver, CO (I-Newswire) January 7, 2013 - CityNet CEO Matthew Splitt announced today that the company is adding Wireless business class service to select buildings in Denver, CO.
CityNet already provides high speed Ethernet access to 70 Mbps and ADSL2+ service to 20 Mbps in office, loft and apartment buildings in the downtown Denver area. The addition of wireless service allows CityNet to offer 25+ Mbps service in buildings where Ethernet wire is unavailable.
"Businesses that migrate to cloud computing and other Internet apps soon find themselves needing more and more bandwidth," says Splitt. "We can now satisfy data-hungry networks over wireless by providing large amounts of bandwidth, load balanced across multiple connections for speed and redundancy, at a very affordable price."
Splitt adds, "As for home service, residential Internet is no longer what it used to be. An explosion of apps, sites and devices has made it crucial to have a quality, very high-speed Internet connection. Many of the older loft and apartment buildings have unreliable in-building phone wire and installing Ethernet is not an option. Very high-speed Wireless access is the perfect solution."
CityNet is using Ubiquiti Networks Unifi LR high power access points throughout the building structures to provide service to loft and apartment tenants. To service business clients, access points are installed inside the office premises and wired directly to CityNet's Internet pipe. Single or multiple IP addresses are available.
