Soon after, ESPN teamed up with the Chicago White Sox and Troy D to deliver a power, soulful, live National Anthem for 25,000 fans. Just months later, he took the stage again and was crowned the 2010 Chicago Road to Fame champion, an idol-like competition where singers compete for cash and recording prizes.
