Charles River Analytics, a developer of intelligent systems solutions, announces a new co-op program beginning in 2013. Charles River is seeking students for the spring semester to work on real projects with scientists and engineers to solve the most interesting and challenging knowledge-intensive problems of our day. Openings are available in the Cognitive Systems and Decision Management Systems for candidates with successful academic backgrounds in:

• Computer science
• Cognitive engineering
• Artificial intelligence (AI)
• Software engineering, or
• Applied mathematics

Charles River is seeking students interested in learning about AI and applying it to solve real-world problems. Students will use a variety of technologies, such as cognitive modeling, graphical user interface (GUI) development, natural language processing, machine learning, probabilistic reasoning, data fusion, and planning and optimization. They will work in small project-oriented groups of scientists and software engineers to build working prototypes of intelligent decision-support tools.
