Champions Group Invites Corporates To Join Bangalore’s Unique “Midnight Marathon” Promoting “Run For Green”

Bangalore, Karnataka (I-Newswire) December 9, 2010 - Bangalore, India’s IT Capital, has of late been hosting marathons regularly and its citizens have been enthusiastically participating in them in large numbers. Mr. SubhakarRao, Chairman of Champions Group today announced the Midnight MarathonCorporateRelay, an innovative new addition to the event created as a part of the Midnight Marathon 2010. The Corporate relay gives corporate entities an opportunity to participate in the marathon as a team of eight. As the Name suggests it is a relay. The teams have to complete the marathon by dividing the distance between eight people. This will extend Corporate CSR activity towards saving the environment and Going Green participating in this “Run for Green” themed midnight marathon. This marathon is one of its kind in the world, being the only marathon that runs in the middle of the night.

Over 6000 participated in the Marathon last year.This year we expect an even larger participation and excitement,already 35 international athletes from across the world have identified their participation in the Marathon. It will be held in Whitefield ITCorridor, in line with the spirit of the event starting at 7pm from Sigma Tech Park on Saturday, December 11th.
