Canter Companies Builds Urban Infill Development In San Diego

Canter Companies and InDev: Invest + Develop announced that construction of their joint-venture project, the C2 Lofts, is now underway. The urban infill development is one of many that are upgrading neighborhoods in San Diego, California.

San Diego, CA (I-Newswire) January 14, 2013 - Canter Companies and InDev: Invest + Develop announced that construction of their joint-venture project, the C2 Lofts, is now underway.

This urban infill development located in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego will provide expansive views of San Diego’s unique and diverse landscape. Located on an overlooked site and working within the Mid-Cities PDO, the modern designed building’s form arose from an infill model that provides maximum efficiency of the project site to provide all the features of a single family home in a more affordable townhouse style.

This development was attractive to Canter Companies as a potentially profitable investment, and more importantly, it provides an opportunity to be a part of the urban infill movement that turns undeveloped lots into valuable pieces of real estate. Urban infill is becoming a more common practice of development in cities nationwide as it reduces sprawl and promotes a more vibrant city core.
