CandyDate Jobs To Hire 5,000 For Exhilway

New Delhi (I-Newswire) January 19, 2012 - CandyDate Jobs (CJ), India’s leading human resource consultancy will hire over 5,000 people for Exhilway, a Canada based wealth manager for its India based operations. The new hiring contract will bring in a net revenue of US $1.92 million or INR 10 crore to the company. CJ will hire people for various business verticals of Exhilway like sales, information technology, back end, human resources and administration.

Over 80% of the hired employees will work from home under the new IT cloud services implemented by Exhilway after it shuttered down most of its businesses in India and outsourced the work to its China based offices. Exhilway have long struggled to market its products in India, the company will take second chance and will make a fresh investment of over US $500 million or INR 2,600 crore according to the India based brokerage houses.

“Hiring for Exhilway will start in March and will continue till August. The new cloud technology has opened new doors for thousands of people living in small cities. Exhilway is taking a calculated risk on hiring virtual employees for its core business and we are confident that this risk will pay off well,” said Tarun Das Verma, HR Manager at CJ.

Exhilway who manages over US $50 billion or INR 26,000 crore globally will exit brokerage and wealth management business and will invest in private equity business for better returns. Exhilway have booked a loss of US $70 million or INR 364 crore since its entry into India in the late 2005.

CJ will appoint a team of 300 HR professionals to effectively serve its new client Exhilway India. CJ will hire Janis Cook a former employee of Hewitt to manage the hiring process. CJ is also in talks with number of advertising agencies to effectively manage the marketing of hiring process.
