Camp Shining Stars Announces 2010 Summer Camp Schedule

DURHAM, NC, November 17, 2009—Camp Shining Stars, a co-ed teen weight loss camp organized by the Healthy Children’s Foundation in eastern North Carolina, announces Summer 2010 camp dates.





















(I-Newswire) November 17, 2009 - Camp Shining Stars will kick-off the Summer 2010 camp session on June 27th and conclude on August 7th at the Barton College Campus in Wilson, NC. Campers have the opportunity to stay for the entire 6 week session or also choose from two 3 week sessions, June 27th through July 17th or July 18th through August 7th.

Summer Camp in the Southeast

To maximize campers’ rest and energy, Camp Shining Stars offers air-conditioned private dormitories with two campers per room, a distinctive residence life uncommon for weight loss camps around the country. A safe and supportive environment is provided to all campers attending any summer session as they will reside in one of the five dorms on Barton College’s 65-acre campus and benefit from a 3 to 1 campers to staff ratio.

Teen Camp Registration

Camp Shining Stars “Where Winners Lose!” is open for Summer 2010 registration for young adults ages 11-18. Early registration savings are available for deposits made prior to December 1, 2009. 2010 tuition fees are posted and campers can enjoy no increase from 2009 rates.
