C&M Announces the Release of a New White Paper

C&M Corporation, a vertically integrated manufacturer of bulk cable, coil cords, and cable assemblies, has announced the release of a new white paper entitled, “Understanding the Electrical Performance of Category Cables”

Wauregan, CT (I-Newswire) August 4, 2011 - C&M Corporation, a vertically integrated manufacturer of bulk cable, coil cords, and cable assemblies, has announced the release of a new white paper entitled, “Understanding the Electrical Performance of Category Cables”

Unlike more technically focused documents, the paper is written to provide non-engineers with a better understanding of the terminology associated with this universal product family. The document blends examples and non-technical explanations to provide the reader with a foundation for understanding the uses for Category cables as well as how they function relative to moving data between electronic devices.

“While many papers are in publication that are designed for engineers or technical personnel who are very familiar with the technology associated with Ethernet based systems and Category cables, very few documents exist that are written with the non-engineering reader in mind”, noted C&M’s Marketing Communications Manager Mike Levesque. “With that fact in mind it was our goal to provide a white paper that a non-technical reader who is interested in these products could read and, more importantly, understand, when it came to the terminology associated with these cable types.”

The new white paper is available for download from the C&M website and can be found in the “Literature Library” located under the “Resources” tab of the home page.
