Business Owner Develops Job Creating Network

Noah’s Ark Business Group is working to create jobs and financial freedom with a new network for Michigan.

Farmington Hills, Michigan (I-Newswire) January 4, 2011 - When you walk into Jaws Jumbo Burgers on Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills, you'll see Hollywood blockbusters on flat screen TVs, movie posters, pictures of Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien and their signature burgers, along with a friendly staff and fun atmosphere.
You might not expect the owner, Darryl Gaddis, to be in a back room giving presentations. But that's what he's doing as he builds the Noah's Ark Business Group, a network he created to help get Michigan's economy on the right track.

"As a country, we don't really manufacture anything," said Gaddis. "We don't own anything, while jobs are being shipped overseas. We need to stop it. Enough is enough. It's not a thing of color. It's not a thing of race. It's not a thing of politics. We're all in it together and if we don't create jobs, you've got nothing but an entitlement state."

Gaddis said the goal is to buy businesses, create jobs, and keep the money circulating in the network. The network would pay members 30% of profits, and give them 10% discounts to shop at network owned businesses - supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants. The other 70% goes into buying more businesses, creating a whirlwind effect of money and jobs for the Michigan economy and its residents.

"The satisfaction is doing the right thing," said Gaddis. "There have been a lot of people that have gone to the grave with great ideas, but never implemented them."

So far, Gaddis has about 75 members in the Noah's Ark Business Group. Right now, the group is only a commitment; they'll start collecting money when they have enough members to buy their first business, Gaddis said. Eventually, he'd like the network to be somewhere between 900-3,000 members.

"What we're doing now is seeing how the public feels about it," said Gaddis. "If we get the response that we're looking for, then we can start opening businesses at about 300 members."

Noah's Ark Member, Larry Colston, is excited about being a part of Gaddis' vision. He sees a lot of potential getting in on the ground level.

"I got involved with Noah's Ark because I was feeling like I needed to be more financially independent," said Colston. "I think it's a good concept. This gives you a chance to be hands on and to feel like you're part of something that has unlimited potential."
