Erik also serves as Vice Chair of the board of Public Health Foundation Enterprises and as an Overseer of Shady Hill School. Previously, Erik was Senior Vice President - General Counsel of ImClone Systems, a public biotechnology firm sold to Eli Lilly for $6.5 billion after successful recovery from extensive legal and governance troubles. Building on more than 15 years of board and executive service, he consults, writes and teaches widely on issues including corporate governance and business leadership; the globalization and segmentation of corporate legal services and innovation policy and practice. Erik holds degrees from Harvard Law School (JD '96) and The Johns Hopkins University (BA '92).
