Boutique Wealth Management Firm Plays Santa

VisionQuest Wealth Management, a boutique wealth management firm in Raleigh NC, recently hosted its Annual Holiday Party & Toy Drive.

Recently, VisionQuest Wealth Management got to play Santa Claus as the firm delivered Christmas presents to sick children at Wake Med's Children's Hospital.

In its fourth year of supporting the Children's Hospital, VisionQuest held its Annual Holiday Party at Whispering Hope Farm in Raleigh, North Carolina. Staff, clients, friends, and family of VisionQuest gathered at the farm for an evening of good company and fund-raising with the hopes to supply the children of the hospital with enough toys that each child patient would receive (3) three gifts.
"Wow, look at the truck bed", says Nick Kolbenschlag - Director of Service & Operations, for VisionQuest. "Each year it gets better and bigger and I'm so humbled and proud of our clients and friends as this year we raised 27% more presents than the previous year."

"So 'yes' the goal of (3) three gifts per child was accomplished! And the entire VisionQuest Team got their Santa," said Stacy Beane, as they gave the toys to the children in-person.

Joel Morgan, the Marketing Manager at VisionQuest, said "…this brought back fond childhood memories for me. Nearly every present that I came across reminded me of something I wanted or got as a kid. And as I watched each of my team-mates load the toys up, I saw each person remembering a Christmas in which they got their most special gift...it was great."

Mr. Morgan continued to explain that "the ages of the children ranged from newborn to 17 year olds and the entire VQ staff seemed to enjoy giving the toys as much, maybe more, then the children receiving the gifts. Hey, that's when you are really playing Santa, right?"

Wake Med Children's Hospital treats roughly 140,000 kids each year at their Raleigh facility, providing exceptional care to each one. And In 2012, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) became 4th in the world to receive the NIDCAP Nursery Certification - NICDAP stands for Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program. And although not as big as Wake Med, VisionQuest shares a commitment to excellence and service which will continue in 2014 and beyond.
