The Steve Katsos Show expands to Los Angeles on LA36 and now has political guests to discuss the 2012 Presidential election.

Arlington, MA (I-Newswire) December 16, 2011 - This week marks the start of The Steve Katsos Show airing in Los Angeles on LA36, a public access channel. The Steve Katsos Show is a weekly variety television program featuring creative artists in New England and it airs in 9 countries on My TV in the UK, and on various stations in the US. The show is currently run by volunteers at Arlington Community Media, Inc. that want to help creative people in New England get their art, comedy, and music out to the world.

To celebrate airing in Los Angeles, Steve welcomed former Governor Michael S. Dukakis to this week's show. Dukakis was the 1988 Democratic Nominee for President and, like Steve, is Greek-American. The appearance of Mr. Dukakis has started a new segment on the show for politicians to voice their opinion on the upcoming Presidential election.

“Our show is for artists and all people of interest in New England,” Katsos revealed. “The upcoming election is important to us and there are some candidates coming through New England that we want to speak with.” The producers of The Steve Katsos Show have reached out to current members of congress, political candidates, and all New England governors. The next political guest will appear on January 31, 2012.

Tuesday's show also included comedian Stephen Bjork and heavy metal rock band Gozu. “Even though we are adding political guests from time to time, our show will always have comedians and musicians. And they finally have a chance to go to Los Angeles without ever leaving New England. It’s called The Steve Katsos Show,” explained Katsos.

The Steve Katsos Show has content on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and iTunes. A full list of local artists and guests from New England can be found at stevekatsos.com. The program has expanded to over 24 cable channels, seen in more than 13 million homes in 10 different countries.
