Bonnaroo Book Event in New York 5/23

Author Tara L. Groth will host a book talk at The Kush in New York's Lower East Side on Monday, May 23rd at 7PM for How Do You Roo? A Survivor's Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo.

Groth will discuss her book, advice about attending the annual four-day camping music event and festival trends. Attendees are encouraged to come out and meet others going to The Roo, share their own festival experiences, and learn about other camping music festivals in the US. Those who buy or bring a copy of How Do You Roo will receive complimentary hookah use and drink specials.

The Kush is a lounge in the Bowery that features a variety of live music. "This is a great spot to talk about Bonnaroo. The Bowery Ballroom is just a few blocks away and most of the shows in the coming weeks are acts that will be playing-or have already played-at Bonnaroo," said Groth.

The Kush is located at 191 Chrystie Street (between Stanton and Rivington Streets). The book talk begins at 7PM on Tuesday, May 23rd. Seating is limited and RSVPs can be made at howdoyouroo dot com by clicking on "Tour."

How Do You Roo is the first guidebook to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and is available at select retailers in the Southeast and online. The pocket-sized guidebook offers money-saving tips, camping recommendations and festival veterans' advice for those attending the annual four-day camping and music festival in Tennessee. How Do You Roo? A Survivor's Pocket Guide to Bonnaroo (97 pp/paperback/ISBN- 978-0-557-90560-7) is the only unofficial guide to Bonnaroo. The material in How Do You Roo originated with the author and was not reviewed, edited or approved by the organizers and producers of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
