Good Cacao® LLC, winner of the 2011 "Best New Finished Product" at Expo West/ NUTRACON, announces the development of four new Performance-Based Superfood Chocolate® bars. Developed in partnership with Dr. Michael T. Murray, a leading authority on natural medicine, the bars are engineered with athletes in mind.
Good Cacao® performance bars were developed with a specific function in mind, each with their own distinct flavor profile. The Cardio bar supports heart health, circulation, and blood flow, and contains the nutraceuticals FruitFlow®, NSK-SD®, and New Zealand Pine Bark Extract. The Energy bar creates a sustained level of energy and focus for the consumer, without the downside of a caffeine crash. This is enabled via, D-Ribose®, Guarana, Yerba Mate, NeuroGPC™, and Chocamine®. The Recover bar, containing Beta Alanine, Sustamine®, and PharmaGABA®, aids in rehydration and replenishment, allowing athletes to bounce back easily. The final bar, Sculpt, supports weight-loss and metabolic-balance using ingredients such as; Ganeden BC30®, Sensoril® Ashwagandha, WellTrim® IG, and Green Coffee Bean Extract.
All of the performance bars are formulated with 66% all-natural dark chocolate, rich in flavanols, and are Vegan, Non-GMO, and Gluten Free. The bars are using a wide variety of superfoods such as Organic, Raw Vanilla Beans, Organic Peruvian Lucuma, Organic, Raw, Maca, and Madagascar Cinnamon Bark.
"Each bar is formulated so that together, they create a complete platform for both extreme athletes and fitness enthusiasts. These bars can benefit anyone before, during, and after physical activity." states Jennifer Gaudry, VP of Research and Development at Good Cacao®.
