BMW of Bowling Green Announces Arrival of All-New 2013 BMW X1

BMW of Bowling Green recently received the 2013 BMW X1 at its local Bowling Green dealership. The X1 is an all-new crossover that features improved handling, high fuel economy, and a spacious interior.

Bowling Green, KY (I-Newswire) August 28, 2012 - Local BMW dealer, BMW of Bowling Green, is excited to announce that the all-new BMW X1 has arrived at their dealership. The new X1 is based from the X3, 1 Series, and 3 Series, featuring the handling and lower height found in the 1 and 3 Series, while at the same encompassing the utility and space of the X3.

This new luxury compact crossover is offered in three trims: the sDrive28i, xDrive28i, and xDrive35i. Each trim can be purchased in one of three builds. The X Line build is designed for off-roading, the Sport Line for performance, and the M Sport Line for the ultimate power.

The X1 sDrive28i comes with BMW’s rear-wheel drive system, an 8-speed steptronic automatic transmission, and a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine with 240-horsepower. Opt for the xDrive28i and receive BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. Lastly, the xDrive35i comes with a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine with 300-horsepower, a 6-speed steptronic automatic transmission, and xDrive all-wheel drive.

Auto stop-start, ECO PRO mode, and brake energy regeneration help to increase the X1’s efficiency. As a result, fuel economy is estimated at 24 mpg city/33 mpg highway for the sDrive28i, 22 mp city/30 mpg highway for the xDrive28i, and 18 mpg city/27 mpg highway for the xDrive35i.

In addition, the 2013 X1 comes with a variety of standard features that make driving not only more comfortable but safer as well. These features include dynamic stability control, hill descent control, leatherette upholstery, vehicle and key memory, automatic climate control, automatic headlights, Bluetooth hands-free phone, leather-wrapped steering wheel, HD radio, USB adapter, and BMW’s advanced safety system.
